Solar Panels generate clean energy, and do not emit greenhouse gases into the atmosphere in contrast with other forms of energy generation, such as fossil fuel plants. Solar energy is also a form of renewable energy and is readily accessible everyday.
Solar System Earthing Rod / Earthing Tape
We manufacture galvanized earthing rods/tapes for the galvanized steel frames of solar panels for the protection of solar PV systems against lightning damage. For solar panels frames that are made of galvanized steel, rods made out of copper or other metals cannot be attatched to the galvanized steel frame as it will react with the zinc surface. The galvanized earthing rods/tapes are also robust and corrosion resistant.
The galvanized earthing rods/tapes are connected to the steel frame of solar panels, and the ground. The earthing rods/tapes channels the electrical charge of the lightning from the steel frame of the solar panels to the ground, where that charge is earthed. This helps protect the solar panel from being damaged severely by lightning.
